Table with two half-moon tops (dimensions of each: 55'' x 21 ¾'' cm) in panels of particleboard finished in either oak veneer or lacquer. Lower pedestal in multi-ply, finished in either oak veneer or lacquer. Base in brilliant-chromed steel with adjustable jacks set into the uprights. Table has two 23 ½'' extension leaves, delivered separately. Dimensions when open: 106 ¾''. When closed (that is, without extension leaves), the table seats 6 - 8; with the two extension leaves in place, it can accommodate 10 - 12.

DESIGNER
DesignerEric Jourdan
Born in 1961, Jourdan lives and works in Paris. Coming as he does from a family of architects, Eric Jourdan has a marked leaning towards classic modernist furniture. He studied at both the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Saint Etienne; Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris and has been working in design since 1998 when Neotu have been producing his designs. Some of his past projects include Fitting-out and furniture for Cartier New York, 1991, the Thomson project with Philippe Starck, 1993 and Exhibition at Galerie Gilles Peyroulet, 2000. For many years the hallmarks of his design have been serenity and clarity, so too has his work for Ligne Roset. Snowdonia created in 2006, offers a melange of sensuous curves and purity of line. His latest creation, Shaman is at once contemporary and timeless.
