FLIP | | Product Name: | Flip | This airy, suspended occasional chair is a study of various ergonomic curves. Christian Werner wanted to bring in a third dimension with the flexible properties of the fiberglass shell that varies in thickness. Much patience was required, but the result is highly unique.
The armrests and feet are available in a chromed finish or in satin-finish black lacquer.
Its high back enables the sitter to rest his or her head, and with the footstool, one has an extremely comfortable and relaxing chair. |
| Designed: | 2010 | | Designer | Christian Werner | | Christian Werner was born in Berlin in 1959. He studied industrial design in both Berlin and Hamburg, but was finally drawn to the latter, where he has lived since 1984.
He founded his own product design and interior architecture agency in 1992, where he designs furniture for prominent international manufacturers.
Furniture is by no means his only arena for expression, he has also undertaken various projects for exhibition stands, restaurants, PR agencies, shops, and franchises.
